History:

The diamond is the hardest of all precious stones and was therefore honoured by the ancient Greeks, Egyptians and other peoples as the "king of precious stones". It received its name from the Greek word "adamas", meaning something like "the invincible". Due to its everlasting hardness, they believed it to be a piece of eternity. "It imparts its wearer with divine splendour on earth, with supreme purity and enlightenment."

This precious stone has to this very day lost nothing of its value. Through the invention of the brilliant cut in 1456, the gem cutters succeeded to work this stone to sparkling perfection. To this very day the diamond is believed to be an everlasting proof of love and loyalty. In medicine, experience with the diamond goes back to 2000 years before Christ.Healing effect on the bodyWith the aid of the diamond, blockages and impurities are veritably flushed out of the body.

Obstructions of the excretory organs, of the coronary vessels and diseases of kidneys and bladder are prevented and even cured up to the advanced state. As "diamond water", taken in the morning on an empty stomach, it dissolves kidney and gallbladder stones, cures diseases of the gastro-intestinal tract and, in addition, helps with bone and intervertebral disc problems. Gout and leukaemia are rapidly cured with a resolute application of diamonds. This applies also to climate-caused, weather-dependent rheumatic pains. Even Pope Clement VII cured his stomach condition with diamond water.

Furthermore, the diamond stimulates the thymus gland and dispels epilepsy. A diamond mounted in gold or platinum has a wonderfully relaxing effect on the nervous system. It relaxes the entire muscular system and protects against impaired balance. The effect of the diamond on the brain is a special one. It strengthens the brain and protects it from senility, mental decline, meningitis and sclerosis.

Diamonds have a prophylactic effect against brain haemorrhage and stroke. Moreover, the diamond is a rehabilitation stone for strokes which have already occurred. It loosens paralyses and ensures that damage through ruptured minute vessels in the brain and other organs heal without scars and that damaged limbs rehabilitate in a short period of time.Healing effect on the psycheThe diamond is the guardian of the spirit, thus helping clear and independent thinking.

Furthermore, it promotes equanimity and self-respect. It helps keep feelings of jealousy under control, removing diffidence in the relation to the partner. In a partnership, the diamond makes both partners more mature for the relationship, by increasing insight, understanding and tolerance reflected in eternal love and real fidelity. It is even better if both partners wear a diamond.

The diamond knows no feelings of morbid jealousy, as there is no room for it in a harmonious and consolidated relationship. Diamonds support will power during diets and withdrawal from smoking or drugs.
